Thinking through the question How is AI going to affect me as a filmmaker, Diana along with panelists genAI filmmaker Dave Clark (CCO at Promise Studios), Erik Weaver (Director, Adaptive Production at ETC), Brian Solomon (Creative Technology Director at Framestore) and moderated by Chris Ofalt, discussed how AI is being used in post-production, animation, for smaller films or documentaries, how to use “clean models” for data, and whether audiences will ever transcend the uncanny valley effects of AI creations.
